The 'Aad belied the sent ones. 123 Their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear God? 124 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 125 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 126 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists). 127 Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves, 128 “And prefer strong palaces, that perhaps you may live for ever?” 129 And when ye seize, ye seize like unto tyrants. 130 Rather keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 131 And fear He who provided you with that which you know, 132 amply provided you with flocks, and children, 133 "And gardens and springs. 134 Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day' 135 They said: "It is the same to us whether you preach or be not of those who preach. 136 your preaching is nothing but ancient legends and we shall not face any torment". 137 and we are not going to be chastised [for adhering to it]!" 138 So they gave him the lie, then We destroyed them. Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 139 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 140

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
