The people of Lut denied the Noble Messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 161 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 162 So fear Allah, and obey me. 163 I seek of you no reward. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 leaving your wives that your Lord created for you? Nay, but you are a people of transgressors. 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said: 'Truly, I am a detester of what you do' 168 My Lord! deliver me and my household from that which they work. 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 Except one old woman who remained behind. 171 Then afterward We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained down upon them a rain, and evil was the rain on those warned. 173 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And lo! thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
