The people of Lot rejected the Messengers, branding them liars. 160 When their brother Lot said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 So fear God and listen to me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, 165 “And leave the wives your Lord has created for you? In fact you are people who exceed the limits.” 166 They said, "Lot, if you do not give up preaching, you will certainly be expelled (from this town)". 167 He said: "I do detest your doings." 168 My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do." 169 So We delivered him and his household all. 170 all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind; 171 Then afterward We destroyed the others. 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 174 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 175
