The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 but be conscious of Him who has created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of old!" 184 They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched, 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 So cause thou a fragment of the heaven to fall upon us, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 187 Answered [Shu'ayb]: "My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 190 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 191
