The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God? 177 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Fill up the measure and do not diminish the goods of people, 181 Weigh with correct scales: 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 Fear He who created you, and the generations of the ancient' 184 They said: "You are only one of those bewitched! 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 Then make fragments of the heaven fall upon us, if thou art of the truthful. 187 He said: "My Lord is the Best Knower of what you do." 188 But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day! 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 191
