Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 The Faithful Spirit has descended with it, 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 (a revelation embodied) in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 Had We revealed it to any one of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 who will not believe in it, until they see the painful chastisement 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 and then they will exclaim, "Could we have a respite?" 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 And never did We destroy a township, but it had its warners 208 for a reminder; and never did We wrong. 209 Not by the Satans has it been brought down; 210 It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power, 211 Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
