Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 Truly, it is in the Books of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them - (to wit, the Makkans) - that the learned men of the Children of Israel know that? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 who would have read it to them, they (pagans) would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals. 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 that will come upon them [on resurrection,] all of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach]; 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 Seek haste then they with our torment? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 for a reminder; and never did We wrong. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), warn your closest relatives. 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 and when you turn among those who prostrate themselves. 219 For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They come to every sinful liar. 222 The satans try to listen to the heavens but many of them are liars. 223 As for poets, only the wayward follow them. 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 and how they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
