And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 The Faithful Spirit has descended with it, 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayest be of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware, 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 To warn. For We are never unjust. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 Have trust in the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They come to every sinful liar. 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 and that they [so often] say what they do not do [or feel]? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
