The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
