Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say to them (O Muhammad SAW) "Travel in the land and see how has been the end of the criminals (those who denied Allah's Messengers and disobeyed Allah)." 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
