In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Alif-Lam-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book of wisdom. 2 a guidance and mercy for the doers of good, 3 Those who establish the prayer and give the poor-rate and of the Hereafter are convinced. 4 Those are on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful. 5 And of mankind is he who payeth for mere pastime of discourse, that he may mislead from Allah's way without knowledge, and maketh it the butt of mockery. For such there is a shameful doom. 6 When Our revelations are recited to them, they turn back on their heels out of pride as if they did not hear them or their ears had been sealed off. Warn them of the painful torment. 7 (As for) those who believe and do good, they shall surely have gardens of bliss, 8 Therein they will be abiders: a true promise of Allah. And He is the Mighty, the Wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars that you see and cast on the earth firm mountains lest it should shake with you. Upon it He dispersed all manner of crawling thing, and He sent down water from the sky with which He caused to grow in it every generous kind. 10 [All] this is God's creation: show Me, then, what others than He may have created! Nay, but the evildoers are obviously lost in error! 11
