O Prophet, say to thy wives and daughters and the believing women, that they draw their veils close to them; so it is likelier they will be known, and not hurt. God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and perverts, and the rumour-mongers of Madinah, do not desist even now, We shall rouse you against them, so they would not be able to live but a short time in the city with you. 60 Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter. 61 This was the tradition of God with those who lived before. There will never be any change in the tradition of God. 62 People will ask you about the Hour. Say, "God alone has knowledge of it. Who knows? The Hour may well be near at hand." 63 Allah has indeed cursed the disbelievers, and has kept prepared for them a blazing fire. 64 therein to dwell for ever; they shall find neither protector nor helper. 65 The Day their faces will be turned about in the Fire, they will say, "How we wish we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger." 66 And they will say: "Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way. 67 Our Lord! Oh, give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse. 68
