Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 who show off, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7
