(O Prophet), say to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity: “Call upon those whom you fancied to be deities beside Allah. They own not even the smallest particle, neither in the heavens nor on the earth; nor do they have any share in the ownership of either of them. Nor is any of them even a helper of Allah. 22 No intercession avails with Him, except on the part of one to whom He grants permission. When their hearts are relieved of fear, they will enquire from those to whom permission is granted, "What has your Lord said?" They will answer, "The truth. He is the Most High, the Supreme One." 23 ۞ Say, "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "Allah. And indeed, we or you are either upon guidance or in clear error." 24 Say to them, "You will not be called to account for our sins and we shall not be called to account for what you do." 25 Say: "Our Sustainer will bring us all together [on Judgment Day,] and then He will lay open the truth between us, in justice - for He alone is the One who opens all truth, the All-Knowing!" 26 Say: "Show me those whom ye have joined with Him as partners: by no means (can ye). Nay, He is Allah, the Exalted in Power, the Wise." 27 We have sent you as a bearer of glad news and a warner to the whole of mankind, but most people do not know. 28 And they say: when is this promise to be fulfilled if ye say sooth? 29 Say: 'You have the tryst of a day that you shall not put back by a single hour nor put it forward.' 30
