۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 if He so wished, He could take you away and replace you with a new creation; 16 And this not at all difficult for Allah. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 Not equal are the blind and the seeing man, 19 Nor the darkness and the light, 20 Nor are (alike) the shade and the sun's heat. 21 Nor are the living equal with the dead. Lo! Allah maketh whom He will to hear. Thou canst not reach those who are in the graves. 22 You are only a bearer of warnings. 23 Surely We have sent thee with the truth good tidings to bear, and warning; not a nation there is, but there has passed away in it a warner. 24 And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light. 25 Then did I punish those who disbelieved, so how was the manifestation of My disapproval? 26
