Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
