Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 on a straight path; 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
