Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path, 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
