Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Seen. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 on a straight path; 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
