Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
