Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 on a straight path, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
