Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
