And the trumpet shall be blown, and lo! from the tombs unto their Lord they shall be hastening. 51 They shall say: O woe to us! who has raised us up from our sleeping-place? This is what the Beneficent Allah promised and the apostles told the truth. 52 'It was only one Cry; then behold, they are all arraigned before Us. 53 No soul will be in the least bit wronged on that Day and no one will receive any recompense other than what he deserves for his deeds. 54 Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation - 55 They and their associates will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity); 56 therein there will be all kinds of fruits to eat, and they shall have all that they desire. 57 "Peace!" - a word (of salutation) from a Lord Most Merciful! 58 "And O ye in sin! Get ye apart this Day! 59 ۞ "Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?- 60 and serve Me alone: this is the Straight Way? 61 But he beguiled a great many of you. Why did you not then understand? 62 "This, then, is the hell of which you were warned again and again: 63 Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved. 64 That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths. But their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness, to all that they did. 65 If We so willed, We would have put out their eyes, then they would rush to see the Way, but how would they be able to see? 66 If it had been Our will, We could have paralysed them where they stood, so that they would not be able to go forward or turn back. 67

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
