And the Horn is blown, and, from the graves they rush forth to their Lord. 51 They will say: Ah woe unto us! who hath roused us from our sleeping-place? This is that which the Compassionate had promised, and truly spake the sent ones. 52 Only after a single blast of sound, they will all be brought into Our presence. 53 This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do. 54 Verily the fellows of the Garden today shall be happily employed. 55 They and their spouses, in shade on couches shall be reclining. 56 Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask; 57 "Peace!" shall be the greeting from the Merciful Lord. 58 'Now keep yourselves apart, you sinners, upon this day! 59 ۞ "Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?- 60 But that ye worship Me? That was the right path. 61 And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason? 62 This, then is Gehenna (Hell), that which you were promised. 63 Enter into it this day because you disbelieved. 64 We shall seal your mouths on that Day, let your hands speak to us and your feet testify to what you had achieved. 65 And if We listed, surely We should wipe out their eyes so that they would struggle for the way; how then would they see? 66 And if We pleased We could paralyse them in their tracks, and they would not be able to move forward or turn back. 67

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
