But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 to warn all who are truly alive, and to justify the word [God's verdict] against the deniers. 70 Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners. 71 And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat. 72 And therein they have advantages and drinks; will they not then be grateful? 73 But [nay,] they take to worshipping deities other than God, [hoping] to be succoured [by them, and not knowing that] 74 They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). 75 However, be not grieved by the sayings of those [who deny the truth]: verily, We know all that they keep secret as well as all that they bring into the open. 76 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. 77 And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away? 78 Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "He will give life to them Who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!" 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. 81 His affair, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: be, and it becometh. 82 Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and unto whom ye shall be returned. 83
