Whomsoever We grant a long life, We reverse him in his constitution. Do they still not understand? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor it befitteth him. This is but an admonition and a Recital luminous: 69 That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 Whom We made subservient to them so that some of them they ride and some they eat? 72 they also have other uses in them and drinks. What, will they not give thanks! 73 But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped. 74 (But) they shall not be able to assist them, and they shall be a host brought up before them. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. 77 And [now] he [argues about Us, and] thinks of Us in terms of comparison, and is oblivious of how he himself was created! [And so] he says, "Who could give life to bones that have crumbled to dust?" 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 He has created fire for you out of the green tree from which you can kindle other fires. 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 When He wills a thing, His command is to say to it 'Be', and it is! 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
