The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
