The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 And those who recite the message, 3 surely your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
