The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 so they cannot listen to the High Assembly, for they are pelted from every side. 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
