1/2 Hizb 45

۞ [The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship 22 apart from Allah, and direct them to the path of Hell, 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 No, today they will resign themselves in submission, 26 And some of them will confront the others, 27 They will say: verily ye! ye were wont to come unto us Imposing. 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. 30 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. 31 For we had led you astray. In fact we ourselves were astray." 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Thus do We treat the culprits. 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 (They will be told), "You will certainly suffer the painful torment 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 For them is a Sustenance determined, 41 Fruits of every kind, and they will be honoured 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof), 46 There shall be no trouble in it, nor shall they be exhausted therewith. 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 As if they were eggs carefully protected. 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51 who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 What then, shall we not die 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 Truly, this is the supreme success! 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 Is this better as a welcome, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a torment for the unjust? 63 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire: 64 its spathes are as the heads of Satans, 65 and they eat of it, and of it fill their bellies, 66 On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, 67 They can only return to hell. 68 They found their fathers had gone astray; 69 Yet they hasten to follow in their footsteps. 70 Before them erred most of the ancients, 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 and behold what happened in the end to those that had been warned [to no avail]! 73 Other than the chosen creatures of God. 74

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
