1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24 'But what is the matter with you that you cannot help one another?,'" 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 And some of them shall advance towards others, questioning each other. 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 [To which] the others will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were bereft of all faith! 29 "And we had no authority over you. Nay! But you were transgressing people (disobedient, polytheists, and disbelievers). 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty. 33 Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals. 34 Indeed, when it was said to them, “There is no God except Allah”, they were haughty. 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 In fact, he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the Messengers (who were sent before him). 37 Behold, you will indeed taste grievous suffering [in the life to come,] 38 You will only be recompensed according to your deeds.” 39 But for the sincere worshipers of Allah, 40 For them awaits a known provision, 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 in gardens of bliss, 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain, 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, 48 who are as chaste as sheltered eggs. 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 One of them will start the talk and say: "I had an intimate companion (on the earth), 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment? 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 He will look down and see him in hell. 55 He will say to his friend in hell, "By God, you almost destroyed me. 56 Had I not the guidance of my Lord, I would certainly have been brought into torment". 57 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, 58 Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished? 59 Truly, this is the supreme success! 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? 62 which We have made as a torment for the unjust? 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 The fruit thereof is as though the hoods of the serpents. 65 and they eat of it, and of it fill their bellies, 66 Then after it, indeed for them is the drink of boiling hot water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 And assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients. 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 Look, then how was the end of those who had been warned, 73 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 74
