۞ [And God will thus command:] "Assemble all those who were bent on evildoing, together with others of their ilk and [with] all that they were wont to worship 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 What is the matter with you that you do not help each other? 25 No, today they will resign themselves in submission, 26 And some of them shall advance towards others, questioning each other. 27 They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!" 28 They will say: "No, you were the ones who would not believe. 29 And we had over you no authority, but ye were a people exorbitant. 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 We mislead you and we ourselves had also gone astray." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Now certainly you shall be tasting the painful chastisement, 38 And be rewarded but only for what you had done, 39 But Allah's chosen servants (shall be spared this woeful end). 40 For them there is a known provision, 41 Fruits. And they will be honoured 42 In gardens of pleasure, 43 (Sitting) on couches, face to face, 44 There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, 48 As though they were eggs hidden. 49 Then they will turn to one another, mutually questioning. 50 One of them will say: “I had a companion in the world 51 who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 He will say: -- Do you wish to know where he is now?' 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 He said, “By Allah, you had nearly ruined me!” 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 What then, shall we not die 58 [again,] beyond our previous death, and that we shall never [again] be made to suffer? 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 For the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive. 61 Is that (Paradise) better entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum (a horrible tree in Hell)? 62 We have made this (tree) a trial for the evildoers. 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 its fruit [as repulsive] as satans' heads; 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 And afterward, lo! their return is surely unto hell. 68 Truly they found their fathers on the wrong Path; 69 Yet they hasten to follow in their footsteps. 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 And We had sent admonishers to them. 72 Then look how was the end of those who were warned - 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
