Nay, by the Moon 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 running away from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
