3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 And We rescued him and his household from the great calamity. 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and his people: "What is this you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113
