3/4 Hizb 45

Noah had called upon Us (earlier). See, how excellent We were in answering him! 75 And We rescued him and his household from the great calamity. 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 And We called out to him: "O Abraham! 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 Indeed this was a clear test. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 110 He was one of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
