We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
