And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
