Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
