And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
