It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say: 'To Allah' Say: 'Then will you not remember' 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
