We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
