We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
