We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
