And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 Or at night. Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
