Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 And raised high your fame? 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and let thy Lord be thy Quest. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
