Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
