We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night.
