Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 So you and your deities 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 And verily we! we hallow. 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 "Had we received guidance from the people living before us, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. 174 And watch them, for they will soon see. 175 Do they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment? 176 When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. 177 So turn away from them for a while. 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Glory be to thy Lord, the Lord of Glory, above that they describe! 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
