Hizb 46

Verily Jonah is one of the apostles. 139 when he fled like a runaway slave onto a laden ship. 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 And they have appointed a relationship between Him and the jinns; and indeed the jinns surely know that they will be brought forth. 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 Except one who is (destined) to burn in Hell. 163 (Gabriel said to the Prophet): 'Each of us has a known place. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 That they would be helped, 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 (Muhammad), stay away from them for a while 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from them, 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
