1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering." 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is an advice; and indeed for the pious is an excellent abode. 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ And with them will be maidens of equal age with modest gaze. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Surely that is true -- the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire. 64
